Provider Commercial Terms

Commercial Policy

Providers should know exactly what they can buy on the platform, what remains outside commercial influence, and how disclosures appear to users.

Commercial products can exist

Paid products are allowed when they are useful, disclosed, and do not distort the organic comparison outcome.

Organic rankings are not for sale

Providers cannot buy a better position in the main comparison logic or pay to disadvantage a competitor.

Disclosures must be visible

Users should be able to distinguish paid placements, referral relationships, and organic product surfaces without guessing.

1. What providers can buy

  • Referral and affiliate partnerships on tracked outbound clicks or qualified actions
  • Enhanced provider profiles with richer factual content, disclosures, and assets
  • Clearly labelled sponsored placements or campaign modules
  • Data, widget, or API-style commercial products where offered

2. What providers cannot buy

  • Buying a higher organic ranking position in comparison tables
  • Paying to hide, remove, or suppress competitors from organic results
  • Editorial approval rights over independent copy, reviews, or methodology
  • Unlabelled sponsorship that could mislead users about what is organic

3. How disclosures appear

Commercial relationships may be disclosed at the site level, on individual pages, or directly within a module where the relationship is relevant. A commercial label should be placed where a reasonable user would expect it, not buried in a separate legal document.

Referral relationships are further explained in the Affiliate Disclosure. Organic comparison rules are defined in the Methodology.

4. Provider onboarding expectations

Providers who want to work with us should expect a diligence step. We may request current corridor coverage, payout methods, regulatory status, pricing source details, landing-page links, and other documentation needed to describe the offering accurately.

Entering a commercial relationship does not guarantee inclusion on every route or a permanent listing. Product quality, route support, and data quality still matter.

5. Questions from providers

For listing, sponsorship, or data partnership questions, start with For Providers and then contact admin@compareremittancerates.com. If your question concerns ranking logic rather than a commercial package, review the methodology first so the distinction is clear.

Read the related policies

Providers and journalists should read all three source-of-truth documents together: methodology for rankings, editorial standards for publishing, and affiliate disclosure for referral links.
