Affiliate Disclosure

How we earn, and why it never changes what you see on this site.

We earn commission

Some outbound links to providers are affiliate links.

No cost to you

Using the site costs you nothing. Final provider pricing still needs to be confirmed at checkout.

Rankings are earned

We sort by recipient-gets value. Commission does not buy position.

1. What this disclosure covers

CompareRemittanceRates.com is a comparison website for international money transfer services. This page explains our commercial relationships with the providers listed on the site, in line with guidance from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC Endorsement Guides), the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA CAP Code), and similar rules in the EU.

2. How affiliate links work

Many of the outbound links on this site — for example the "Go to provider" buttons on comparison results, provider profile pages, and blog posts — are tracked affiliate links. When you click one and subsequently complete an action on the provider's site (typically creating an account or sending a transfer), we may receive a commission from that provider.

  • When quote data is available, the rate and fee shown reflect the provider source for the searched route and amount at that moment.
  • We do not mark them up. You pay the same as you would going direct.
  • Commission is paid by the provider out of their own margin.
  • Not every provider we list has a commercial arrangement with us — we include non-paying providers to keep comparisons complete.

3. How this affects rankings

It does not. Our comparison tables are intended to sort comparable options by the amount the recipient is expected to receive for a given send amount, using the quoted rate and fees available for that search. A provider cannot pay to move up the table.

Where a promotional rate is available (for example a first-transfer bonus), we show both the promotional and standard values clearly so you can see the difference before clicking through. The full ranking rules are documented in our Methodology.

4. Which providers we work with

We have current or past affiliate, referral or commercial relationships with providers that may include (but are not limited to): Wise, Remitly, XE, Western Union, WorldRemit, CurrencyFair, OFX, Paysend, TorFX, TransferGo, Instarem, Panda Remit, Taptap Send, and Airwallex. The list changes over time as programmes open and close. If you would like to know the status of a specific provider, please contact us.

5. Not financial advice

Information on this site is provided for comparison and general educational purposes only. It is not personalised financial, legal or tax advice. Exchange rates and fees change constantly, and the right provider depends on your individual circumstances. Always review the provider's own terms before sending money.

6. Questions

If you have concerns about the accuracy of a comparison, believe a commercial relationship has influenced a ranking, or simply want more detail on how we earn, get in touch at admin@compareremittancerates.com. We take complaints seriously.
